Year 3 had an amazing time on Tuesday at Forest and Beach. We walked down to the beach in the morning, which was quite a challenge in the warm weather. They had a great time paddling and building towers, followed by a picnic. There were few complaints about walking back up (mainly from the adults!) Excellent perseverance was shown by all, however, and everyone got back up the hill with a smile. In the afternoon, we played in the woods back at the base, with lots of children practising their fire lighting, while others chilled in the hammocks. We all ate tea together around a long table, which made a delicious end to a wonderful day!
