Reading Roundabout
This week the Year 3,4,5 and 6 children went to a reading roundabout provided by Ivybridge Library. They all had a chance to look at lots of different books and chose some for the library.

This week, we have been raising awareness of the bullying of children and young people, in schools and elsewhere, and building a toolkit of ways to prevent and respond to it. We took part in a live-assembly with the BBC.
Heartfelt thanks to all the helpers who came along on Saturday morning to help clear the school vegetable garden from brambles and weeds.
A huge congratulations to our swimmers who swam an impressive 121 lengths (Swordfish) and 125 lengths (Sailfish) coming joint top of the leader-board in that session. Some fabulous swimming skills were on show and they worked amazingly as a team
World Mental Health Day
Today we learnt about ten a day for mental health. We discussed how being mentally and physically healthy are both important and how we can support our mental health.
